Technical Services Manager for AGWM (Assemblies of God World Missions).
Facilitate use of computer technology to advance the mission of AGWM.
1. Suggest, design, implement, organize, and supervise communication and data systems to facilitate integration of AGWM in-house workflow to and from the “real AGWM” wherever missionaries are located.
2. Research and advise AGWM personnel on security and privacy issues related to the use of the Internet and associated technology.
3. Work with leadership of AGWM to insure smooth functioning of all systems, policies, and procedures, so that employees throughout AGWM can be as effective as possible.
4. Serve as liaison for all computer-related issues with the General Council Information Services division.
5. Serve as a business analyst for the division; to plan for systems and automation to meet immediate and future needs.
6. Serve as a member of the General Council Computer and Systems Evaluation (CASE) committee.
7. Create documentation and tutorial materials regarding various aspects of AGWM workflow as assigned.
8. Review and approve invoices and expenditures related to computer technology purchases, subscriptions, and services; including chargebacks from the General Council. Working with the AGWM Administrator on issues of budgeting and cash flow related to technology expenses.
9. Review and approve individual technology purchases such as computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and related peripherals and software, coordinating AGWM manager’s preferences and policy with the policies and guidelines established by the Board of Administration and the CASE Committee.
10. Serve as an advisor on technology issues to the AGWM Executive Committee as assigned.
11. At the pleasure of the Executive Director and Administrator, supervise employees and/or MAPS workers assigned to AGWM technical areas.
12. Advise various AGWM or AGWM-partner entities as assigned.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
