As a missionary to Japan, I would like to introduce you to Japan whose capital city is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. Try to imagine half of the U.S. population living in an area the size of the state of California. That describes Japan!

In Asia, education is greatly valued. There are more than 1,200 universities and junior colleges in Japan. During the university years people are most open to new ideas. According to a survey, 51% of Japanese believers were baptized between the ages of 20-24, the university years. This young generation represents the harvest that is ready for gathering.

My ministry focus is on reaching university students through campus ministry alongside the local church. This involves creative evangelism and discipleship training.
